Jim Schenk
Jim Schenk directed Covington Community Center (Center for Great Neighborhoods) for four years in the 1970s. He founded Imago (www.imagoearth.org) with his wife Eileen in 1978, where he was director for 28 years, and now works as project coordinator.
Under his direction, Imago founded the Western Wildlife Corridor, Price Hill Will and Enright Ridge Urban Ecovillage – now Hilltop Eco Community as a local and national model for sustainable living in our urban areas.
He also cofounded CROW – “Citizens for Rights of the Ohio River Watershed”.
Jim has a strong commitment to connecting with the Earth, and has coordinated and led many retreats.
He is an author and holds master’s degrees in theology and social work.
